Today, we are happy to announce our fundraising round of €625k to further expand our tech hiring platform and help bridge the gap between fast-growing tech teams and talented developers. Onboard in this round we have Co-founder & ex-CTO at Wolt, Co-founder & CTO at Aiven, Wave Ventures, and Vencubator.

With many companies experiencing a shortage of software developer talent & difficulties in reaching their hiring goals, Hashlist is set to solve the disparity by giving tech companies an easy-to-use platform to source vetted tech talent globally.

The founders of Hashlist (previously Talentrator), Calle Unnérus, Maximilian Wittmer, and William Engblom, began building the company in 2021, and the team has since grown to 9 people spread across 3 continents.

William Engblom, Co-founder at Hashlist

“Since my time in tech began, I have been concerned by the big disconnect tech companies have to the huge global talent pool outside their local markets." William Engblom, Co-founder & CCO, says.

This gap will continue to grow since it’s increasingly challenging for hiring managers to assess cross-border talent due to cultural, skill and communication differences.

“If the pace keeps up, by 2030, there will be 85 million software developers positions unfilled. We are solving it now by creating a global ecosystem of remote engineering talent that can be hired by the push of a button.” Calle Unnerus, Co-founder and CEO, says.

We have recently seen strong traction from top European tech firms joining the live platform.

With the new funding, we will continue building a world-class team to solve the gigantic challenges facing this market.
